CAIHS Monday Morning Message
January 29, 2024
Employee of the Month Mr. Drelick
Our faculty/staff member of the month comes highly recommended. This individual is very easy-going and builds great relationships with staff and students. He goes out of his way every day to greet people and always has a positive attitude. For instance, in the cafeteria, you will find him in the lunch line greeting students or wiping down the tables for our cafeteria staff. He is not required to help out, he just does it. Additionally, when the 9th grade boys were in need of a coach, he stepped up and helped out. He is also working with his players to make sure they are excelling in class as well as on the court. You will find him in the cafeteria encouraging every student and staff to come out to the 9th grade games after school. During the games, you can hear his voice constantly praising our boys and showing his admiration for our students' hard work. Further, he is also a rock star when it comes to PBIS. Ms. Renshaw had this to say about him:
For staff: I nominate Mr. Drelick. Drelick is ALWAYS willing to help the PBIS team set up for our different events (pep, rally's, winter bashes, basketball games) Not only does he set up and give up his gym for multiple periods at a time, but he also is a willing participant with refereeing or playing in a game. In fact, I would actually nominate the entire gym staff as they are always completely accommodating to my crazy ideas.
